Edward Bloor lives in Florida with his wife and children. He is a teacher at both the middle school and high school levels. Tangerine is Bloor's first novel and he is currently working on another novel for youg readers. Tangerine has bene recognized as one of the ALA Top Ten Best Books for Young Adults, a Horn Book Fanfare Book, an American Bestseller Pick of the List, a NYPL One Hunderd Titles for Reading and Sharing, and the Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books Blue Ribbon Book.
